I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!
When Kairo was born, he contracted Strep B, a bacteria that is completely harmless to the everyday adult, but can be deadly for babies. Thankfully, we had incredible nurses and paediatricians to take care of our little guy, and after only 7 days in special care, we got to go home together.But this isn’t always how the story goes. Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia.
Some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath.
I want to support parents that have experienced this unimaginable heartbreak, and raise funds to help save little lives – that’s why I’m taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge this August!
