I'm taking on 3km a day throughout August

I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!

Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia.

Some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath.

I want to support parents that have experienced this unimaginable heartbreak, and raise funds to help save little lives – that’s why I’m taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge this August!

Aug 11th & 12th - Rain + Rain = Sad Kobi

Friday 14th Aug
Murphy’s law that when I have time to go for a walk, the clouds are heavy and the rain is thick. Roll out the MVP (walking pad) and still got the 3km each day. Just one very sad pooch on our hands as he’s watching us ‘go for walkies’ right in front of him while he’s on the bench. 😭

10th Aug - More rain!

Monday 10th Aug
The walking pad is being put to good use again thanks to this never ending rain. Still got the 3km done though!

9th Aug - Rainy day indoor walking pad day

Rainy days mean the 3km is an indoor activity today on the walking pad!

Aug 8th - Drooly boi walks

Sunday 9th Aug
Kobi and I got out together for the 3km this day. The sun was out and so we got out around the hood in the fresh air. He was so excited he drooled the whole way. #nofilter

Aug 7th - Another cracking outdoor walk. YTG!

Sunday 9th Aug
We had a doctors appointment for baby Goldie, so we got out for a walk after the appointment near the doctors office. Was great to get some fresh air but missing the lil man as he had to stay home.

Aug 6th - The bands back together!!

Suns out, fams out! With the return of good weather, we decided to treat ourselves and incorporate lunch into our 3km goal. We walked to the cafe and back with the whole household joining in.

Aug 4th & 5th - Rainy days = indoor walking pad 3km

Sunday 9th Aug
2 days of rain meant we had to get our 3km done indoors so the walking pad was pulled out and switched on. Kobi of course was heart broken to not be able to get out again.

Aug 3rd - Just the boi and I

Nic and Goldie were under the weather so I got out with Kobi for the 3km for the team. We stopped for this photo opp with these cute flowers 🫶🏻

Aug 2nd - Family walk to Bunnings and back

Sunday 9th Aug
In need of a door handle and a Bunnings sausage for lunch, we got out in the sun again, for the 7km round trip to Bunnings and back. It was a family affair with our furbaby joining us this time. We walked through a reserve that was home to dozens of wild rabbits! So cute!

Starting strong on day 1 with the beautiful sunshine! Nic, myself and baby Goldie got out for our steps in the park 🫶🏻
