TALIA JOY 💕✨🫧

Twelve years ago, our world changed forever.

At 39.5 weeks pregnant, we learned that our beautiful daughter, Talia Joy, had died. There was no warning, no explanation that could make sense of it, and no way to prepare for the heartbreak of leaving the hospital without our baby girl.

Talia should be turning 12 this year. She should be finishing primary school, getting ready for high school, and becoming the incredible young lady I often wonder about. Instead, we carry her in our hearts and honour her in the ways we know best.

This August, I’ll be taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge and walking 3km every day in memory of Talia Joy and for every family who has experienced the unimaginable loss of a baby or child.

Last year, with the support of so many beautiful people, we raised over $2,200 for Red Nose. This year, my family and I are lacing up our shoes again and doing it all for our girl.

Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia. The funds raised through Red Nose help provide vital research, support services, and counselling for families walking through the darkest days of their lives.

If you’re able to donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if you’re unable to give, simply sharing Talia Joy’s story and helping us raise awareness means the world to our family.

For our beautiful Talia Joy. 💕🫧✨

Forever loved.
Forever remembered.
Forever our daughter.

Thursday 30th Jul

Two days until we begin again. 💕

Saturday marks the start of the Red, Set, Go Challenge, and for the month of August, our family will be walking 3km every day in memory of our beautiful daughter, Talia Joy.

Almost 12 years ago, at 39.5 weeks pregnant, our world changed forever when we learned that Talia had died. There was no warning, no explanation that could ever make sense of it, and no way to prepare for leaving the hospital with empty arms.

Talia should be turning 12 this year. She should be navigating the exciting years between primary and high school, discovering who she's becoming and filling our home with laughter. Instead, we honour her the only way we can—by keeping her memory alive and helping other families through Red Nose.

Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of so many of you, we raised over $2,200. I honestly couldn't have imagined that kind of support, and our family is so grateful.

This year, my fundraising goal is $2,500, and Saturday we lace up our shoes and do it all again.

Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia. The funds raised through Red Nose help provide life-saving research, grief support, counselling and education for families facing the unimaginable.

If you're able to donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make a difference.

If donating isn't possible right now, sharing this post or simply helping us spread awareness is another beautiful way to honour Talia and support other families.

Thank you for remembering our girl with us.
