I'm taking on 3km a day throughout August

I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!

Anyone who’s ever met me knows I love getting out there and putting foot to pavement. Bloody love racking up the kilometres with a good walk, jog or run. Slow me down? Don’t even try.

What you may not know is that our precious Evie, born prematurely, spent a chunk of time in the NICU after birth.

Devastatingly, every day in Australia, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly.

While Evie was ultimately fighting fit and is absolutely thriving years later, some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath.

That’s why this August I’m taking on Red Nose Day’s Red, Set, Go Challenge, walking, running and occasionally riding at least 3km a day for the 3,000 babies & young children who die suddenly & unexpectedly each year.

Money raised through Red Nose Day supports vital research to prevent deaths of babies during pregnancy, infancy and early childhood. 

I’m aiming to triple the 3km goal each day, follow along and chuck a few bucks in to wind me up and keep me going!
