I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!

Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia.

I am one of these parents. My son Dylan was born and died on 1st June 2021. He was alive for around 15 minutes but never opened his eyes. He was born too early to be saved. 

After his birth/death my partner and I were devastated. Shocked. Red Nose helped us pick up the pieces via its Hospital to Home program. I don’t know what we would’ve done without them. From their compassion, to their knowledge and support, it’s thanks to them we got back on our feet and went on to have our beautiful Agnes. 

We went to Emergency on a bitterly cold morning because I wasn’t “feeling right” . While there, we found out I have a condition called “incompetent cervix”. I was scheduled to have a cervical stitch placed to help save Dylan but my waters broke as I climbed onto the gurney and all hope of saving him was lost. 

I want to support other parents that have experienced this unimaginable heartbreak, and raise funds to help save little lives.
