I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!

Every day in Australia, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly.

Some families only get minutes or hours with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their baby take their first breath.

My first child, Hazel Lydia, was born still at 38 weeks in November 2024. There were no signs that she wouldn’t survive—my pregnancy was textbook perfect, with no complications or concerns throughout. Nothing could’ve prepared my husband and me to hear the words, “I’m sorry, there’s no heartbeat.”

This August, I’ll be walking 3km every day — one kilometre for each of the 3,000 babies and young children who die suddenly and unexpectedly in Australia each year.

Your donation will help fund crucial research and provide counselling and support for grieving families — offering hope and healing when it’s needed most.
