3km Every Day for Little Lives
Around 1 in every 3,000 live births in Australia is affected by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome... Behind every statistic is a poor family whose world has changed forever.As the founder of Nourish & Move, and as someone who has spent over 11 years working with children, this cause is one that sits close to my heart. Now, as a mum to two little ones of my own, it means even more.
This August, I'm taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge by walking 3km every day to help raise funds for Red Nose. Every dollar raised helps fund vital research, education and support services for families affected by the sudden and unexpected loss of a baby or child.
Movement has always been about more than physical health to me; it's about caring for ourselves holistically and creating positive and permanent change.
Through Nourish & Move, I hope to use every step to make a small difference for little lives and the families who love them.
