I'm taking on 3km a day throughout August

I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!

Every day in Australia, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly.

Some families only have minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath.

This is a cause very close to our hearts. In April 2025, we said goodbye to our beautiful son, Ruben, after just seven precious days. During the hardest time of our lives, we experienced the incredible support that Red Nose provides to families facing the unimaginable.

That’s why this August, we’re taking on the Red, Set, Go! Challenge by committing to walk or run 3km every day throughout the month. We want to honour Ruben, support other families who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a baby or child, and help fund work that can save little lives.

Red Nose funds vital research and education around safer pregnancy and safe sleeping, while also providing grief and bereavement support to families impacted by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, medical termination, stillbirth, newborn death, SIDS, or the sudden and unexpected death of a child.

By donating to our fundraiser, you’ll be helping to fund this life-saving research and education, while ensuring families experiencing unimaginable grief have access to the counselling, support and understanding they need.
