I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!

Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia.

Some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath.

I want to support parents that have experienced this unimaginable heartbreak, and raise funds to help save little lives – that’s why I’m taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge this August!

Day 2 - More Rain 🥶

Saturday 2nd Aug
Well this morning we didn’t start off till after 8 am. It was freezing cold but Jas had ice block. It was a frosty fruit for breakfast ( highly nutritious.) We run reasonably well considering the temperature and did the 3 km in 19 minutes. Slower than what we are used to, but I think this mamma was nervous about slipping 😜 (one massive stack this year is enough thank you very much!) Satra for Hot chocolate was it must to warm us back up before we walked home. Fingers crossed tomorrow isn’t another rainy day! There is no way we could rely on motivation alone to run in what we did today. It was pure discipline that got us through. Go the grit! (Stubborn, us? Never!!)

Day 1 - 6am in the rain

Friday 1st Aug
With lucky planning we did our 3km at CrossFit Coastal Edges 6am training session. Broken into two 1.6km runs in the rain in the dark. It was a tad chilly at 11deg in wet gear! So proud of Jas. She beat me by around 200m!
