I’m fundraising this August to support families experiencing loss.
I'm taking part in Red, Set, Go! for Red Nose Australia in memory of my beautiful daughter, Lunara.
In February 2026, we lost Lunara at 18 weeks. She was my first pregnancy, and saying goodbye to her was the most heartbreaking and traumatic experience of our lives. I'm joining the August challenge because August was originally her first predicted due date (then changed to end of July), and it's also my birthday. It felt like the most meaningful way to honour her memory.
No parent should ever have to experience the heartbreak of losing a baby.
I'm fundraising to help Red Nose continue their incredible work supporting bereaved families, funding vital research, and helping save little lives. When we lost Lunara, knowing that organisations like Red Nose were there to support families like ours meant so much. I want other parents facing the unimaginable to have that same support, because sadly, I know we're not the first, and we won't be the last.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps make a difference. Thank you for supporting me, for remembering Lunara, and for helping bring hope to other families.
