The Hope Sisters: Steps for Ruby

We're fundraising to save little lives this August!

Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia.

For our family, this cause is deeply personal. This August, we are taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge in honour of two very special girls: our daughter and niece Ruby, who was stillborn at 40 weeks, and our sister Elena, who passed away from SIDS 43 years ago. Although decades apart, both losses have left an enduring impact on our family and remind us how precious every little life is.

Some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath. We know the heartbreak that follows and the lifelong love that remains.

That’s why we’re raising funds to support families facing this unimaginable loss and to help fund vital research that can save little lives.
