In December 2022, our beautiful daughter, Koa, passed away after spending four precious days with us. She will always be loved, always be missed, and forever be part of our family.
After losing Koa, Red Nose provided us with bereavement counselling during the darkest time of our lives. Their kindness, compassion and support helped us navigate our grief and reminded us that we didn’t have to face it alone.
This year, we’re taking on the Red Set Go Fitness Challenge in Koa’s memory.
Every step we take is for Koa, and every dollar raised will help Red Nose continue supporting families who experience the unimaginable loss of a baby or child.
The sunflower has become a special symbol of hope for our family, a reminder to keep looking towards the light, even on the hardest days. If you’ve ever spotted a sunflower or a cockatoo and thought of Koa, you’ll know why this team is called Sunflowers for Koa.
