For as long as I can remember, Red Nose has held a special place in my heart. (Anyone else remember the boxing kangaroos)
When I was growing up, my mum volunteered with Red Nose for many years after a close family friend experienced the heartbreaking loss of their baby in the early 1990s. Seeing the compassion, support and hope that Red Nose provided to families during their darkest moments left a lasting impact on me.
I've also seen firsthand just how much of a difference research can make. Continued funding is essential to improving outcomes, preventing future tragedies, and giving families answers and hope.
After spending 10+ years working in Early Learning, I've always been passionate about the safety, wellbeing and development of children. Now, working in the disability sector, that passion for supporting people and improving lives has only grown stronger.
This year, I've decided it's time to challenge myself too.
Exercise has never really been a part of my daily life, and that's something I want to change. So, I figured **what better time than now? By taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge, I'm not only challenging myself to become healthier, but I'm also raising funds for a cause that has meant so much to my family for many years.
Every donation—big or small—will help fund lifesaving research and provide counselling and support to families who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a baby or child.
If you're able to support me, I'd be incredibly grateful. Together, we can help save little lives and support families when they need it most.
Thank you so much for your support. ❤️
