In honour of Maelyn 🤍

One day, I walked into a routine appointment expecting it to be like every other visit. Instead, I walked out with the worst news imaginable. In a single moment, our lives changed forever.

Just days later, I had to do the hardest thing I have ever faced: bring my daughter into the world, knowing I would never get to take her home.

No parent should have to experience the heartbreak of saying hello and goodbye in the same breath. The grief that follows baby loss is overwhelming, but in our darkest moments we were surrounded by incredible compassion. The support we received from the hospital staff and the organisations that helped us create precious memories with Maelyn gave us something we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Those memories are priceless.

That is why this fundraiser is so deeply personal to me. I’m raising funds for Red Nose so that more families experiencing the unimaginable can receive the care, support, resources and compassion they deserve. I hope that, together, we can help ensure that no family has to face baby loss alone.
