For Marlie, and every mum who deserves to have their baby with them
Thursday 16th JulEvery day in Australia, six babies are stillborn. More than a third of the time, no one can tell us why.
My daughter Marlie was one of them.
From the very first, unbearable days, Red Nose was there for my family. Their Hospital to Home program gently helped me find my footing in this new life. And their monthly support groups have given me close friendships with other mums who understand this loss in a way no one else can. Because every mum deserves to talk about her baby, not just once, but for as long as she wants to.
Now Marlie's little sister is on the way, and I want to keep building Marlie's legacy so other families are held the way mine was, and so fewer families have to walk this path at all.
