I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!

Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia.

Some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath.

I want to support parents that have experienced this unimaginable heartbreak, and raise funds to help save little lives – that’s why I’m taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge this August!

Donate to my fundraiser now and you’ll help fund vital research that will save little lives – and provide counselling and support to families that have experienced the devastation of losing a precious baby or child.

I hope you’ll support me with a kind donation today, and help make the world a bright place for the little lives and their families that need it most.

My Impact

I've helped provide 36 professional counselling sessions to families devastated by the loss of a treasured baby or child.

This afternoon I am walking for Gussy ✨

Monday 31st Aug

My dearest Gus

I wonder if you leaving earth before I wanted you to was your profound way of showing me my life's path to support other families.

I wonder if it was this universe experience to teach me how to be present for families who need an ear or shoulder or a smile on a darker day.

I wonder a lot about the what ifs and whys…. but never ever do I wonder about the perfect of unconditional love I feel for you. That is unshakably.

Until I hold you again Ma

This Morning I am walking for Dylan ✨

Monday 31st Aug

27-12-2017 to 07-06-2020

Dylan Thomas

Beautiful boy, best mate, earth angel celebrated by his dad, forever beloved and adored.

Taken from earth by childhood cancer but today we walk knowing there is no pain or suffering just completely incapacitated by unconditional love.

Enjoy your play date with baby Gussy

Today I am walking for Lily ✨

Sunday 30th Aug

Today's 3kms are for Lily

Lily was born in 2016 and sadly passed at 10 & a half months old, of an incurable brain condition known as Miller Dieker Syndrome.

Lily loved going walking with us being in nature surrounded by chirping birds and the sounds of the bush. She also loved music and cuddles.

I have a beautiful memory of when we took her to new Zealand we went on a "hike' and she was soooo happy in nature with all the bird sounds and wind rustling.

Today I am walking for Noah ✨

Saturday 29th Aug
Noah ✨

When our son Noah died, we didn’t just lose a baby, we lost the whole life we had imagined with him.

He was the last piece of our family puzzle and we had wished for him for so long. I was so excited to have 3 little boys close in age, imagining all the adventures they would have together. We were devastated to have that future taken away.

He was born with the most perfect little nose, 10 tiny fingers and toes and a head full of long black hair, almost identical to his big brother.

We are so grateful we got to spend 5 days with Noah at home, but it will never be enough.

There are a million things we will never get to know about him, but we know he was deeply wanted and will be forever missed and loved, for as long as we live.

Today I am walking for Remy ✨

Friday 28th Aug
This morning I spent my 3kms walking through the botanical gardens taking in all of the colours, the cute birds that flew past, the trees all for

Remy ✨

It’s Red Nose Day ❤️

Thursday 27th Aug
Today being Red Nose Day and double donation day thanks to Bonds Australia, I decided to walk double my daily kms and walked 6kms.

I waked with my Red Nose badges on my shoes, my Red Nose socks and my Red Nose crocodile hat ❤️✨

It’s crazy for me to think that August last year I obviously knew about Red Nose Australia but if I am being honest I didn’t know everything Red Nose Australia do. I will forever be grateful for Red Nose Australia and everything that they do!

On my walk I saw ducks fly over me and it made my heart smile. Ducky is Charlottes nickname because we didn’t know until she was born if she was a girl or boy.

Mum and Dad love you our little ducky 🐥💛✨

Today I am walking for Noah William Harlock

Thursday 27th Aug

Noah was born on the 25.01.24. A loss that saw our world collapse at our feet. It sits heavy on our shoulders every day and no moment passes by without him on our minds.

He would be 2.5yrs old now. His sister is 5.5yrs old and questions all the time why her brother didn’t get to stay. I know that he’s with her, us, all the time.

We miss our boy incredibly but we continue to say his name aloud every chance we get. We will never stop loving him and honouring his memory 🩵🩵

Today I walked for Olive ✨

Wednesday 26th Aug

Olive’s mum Hannah would like to share that Olive is the cutest little muffin and that we feel so lucky that we get to say her name every day and we feel her around us regularly which is very comforting!

This afternoon I walked for Little Bean ✨

Tuesday 25th Aug
This afternoon I walked with my beautiful cousin and her family in honor of their Little Bean ✨

It was so beautiful to walk with Little Bean’s tribe. My cousin thinks Little Bean would have been a girl 💕

I walked with Little Bean’s mum, dad, brother and two sisters and I always love spending time with them.

Eli even let me ride his scooter hehe

Big love to Little Bean’s tribe ✨💕

This morning I walked for Thomas ✨

Tuesday 25th Aug
Today I had the chance to walk for two beautiful souls.

In the morning Mark & I walked for the last time together before he goes back out to work for the month in honor of Thomas ✨

I have recently have recently met Thomas’ mum on my social media from my fundraising posts.

Sending so much love & big hugs to Thomas’ family

Today I am walking for Malachi ✨

Monday 24th Aug

This afternoon Mark & I walked for Malachi ✨

He was born sleeping one month ago today. I have been following Malachi’s mum for a little while now and I was devastated when I saw this news. Another little soul taken far too soon 💔

Sending so much love to Malachi’s family.

Today I am walking for Little Peanut ✨

Sunday 23rd Aug

We lost our little peanut on 23rd June 2023.

Our first baby was born in our hearts and will forever be a part of our family, even though we never got to hold them in our arms.

Forever loved, forever missed ❤️

Today I am walking for Little Squish ✨

Saturday 22nd Aug

Today I am walking for Little Squish

We lost our angel baby on the 25/9

(John's birthday).

We both still remember the pain that loss bought us and wonder what that little baby would have been like if they had of survived.

Today I am walking for Shelby ✨

Friday 21st Aug
Today I walked for Shelby ✨

I worked with Shelby’s dad in my old job before Charlotte was born and I remember him talking about Shelby and thinking how beautiful it was to hear a dad talk about his daughter in the sky.

Shelby’s mum sent me the most beautiful video to share on my Instagram of the photos that they received when she was born. ✨

Today I am walking for Luna ✨

Thursday 20th Aug
Today I am walking for Luna ✨

Luna King Elphick, is our first born who was born peacefully sleeping on October 20th, 2021, under the brightest full moon we have ever seen. She is deeply missed in every moment, and makes her presence known when we need it most. We love you to the moon and back, our sweet Luna 🌙🤍✨

Today I am walking for Rocco ✨

Wednesday 19th Aug

Rocco was born sleeping ont the 14th June 2015 at 16 weeks gestation due to incompetent cervix.

He was birthed naturally and we spent 6 precious hours with him. He was perfect in every way. Looked just like his daddy. I often wonder what he would have looked like as teenager.

At the time we didn't know why and I could honestly say I wouldn’t wish it on anyone but it wasn't until years later we found out I couldn’t carry children with out a stitch which was put in post loosing him. What a sacrifice. He was a loss in order for us to have his older brothers.

The day I left the hospital i didn't want anyone else to feel the way we felt in that moment. It’s why I became a Paediatric Nurse and now Child Health Nurse. To help other mothers through loss amd early stages of the newborn era.

Rocco is celebrated every year. Spoken about almost every day and he will be forever in our hearts. He is our superhero, our first yes but no one can take away the fact his is our first born son . Loved always and forever our sweet boy.

RIP Rocco Elder xo

Today I am walking for Felix ✨

Tuesday 18th Aug

Felix

Born sleeping at 34w4d on 18/5/26 - 3 months today. He had a rare condition that is documented in less than 100 cases globally, and is our third angel baby after having had 2 first trimester miscarriages previously.  🤍🩵

We had the best ultrasounds where he seemed to always be giving us big thumbs up 🥹

Walking for the IVF families ✨

Monday 17th Aug

This afternoon I walked for the families going through or have been through IVF and their precious embryos that didn’t make it 💔

I can only imagine what it’s like going through an IVF journey and not have a baby in your arms by the end of it.

I hope for the families going through this journey that one day you are holding your baby in your arms.

Holding so much space for you all ✨💫

Today I am walking for Charlotte 💛✨

Sunday 16th Aug

Today's 3KMs is for our beautiful baby girl

CHARLOTTE 💛✨

Our little ducky 🐥 You would be 10 months old today. It's wild to us where time has gone.

Everyday we pick ourselves up & live, laugh & love for you & we will continue to for the rest of our lives, until our souls meet again ✨

We love you Charlotte💛

Today I am walking for Sage ✨

Saturday 15th Aug

Today I am walking for Sage ✨

Born on the first day of spring, he’d be 3 this year.

•  3.7kg with dark wavy hair and 51cm

 long.

•  He was wrapped in a gum nut baby quilt.

•  We have an alter in our home with his pictures, special items and photos.

•  Our journey has continued with Sage through advocacy for health professionals to better support grieving parents.

•  We do the red nose peer support training this August to open a local support group.

On Friday 14th - I walked for Tristan Arthur Griffin ✨

Saturday 15th Aug

Tristan's name is in our beautiful @preciouswingsqld memory box that we received at the hospital when Charlotte was born.

I will forever be grateful for Tristan's family for donating a memory box in honor of him.

I wish I could give them a big hug and hear more about him.

Sending big love to Tristan's family ✨

Today I am walking for Liam ✨

Thursday 13th Aug

Today I am walking for Liam ✨

“To me, he was perfect. I know every parent says that about their kids/babies, but honestly he was.

He had my wifes small ears and button nose, and had my big hands & feet.

I miss him every minute of every single day and would do anything to spend just another 5 minutes with him”

Today I am walking for Noah Ray ✨

Wednesday 12th Aug
Noah was born on the 12/07/2024 and passed away a month later on the 14/08/2024. We spent 3 weeks with him at home before he appeared unwell where he was flown from our home town to the women’s and children’s hospital in Adelaide, he spent 9 days there in total before we had to leave without our baby coming home with us. This has changed our lives forever and my heart aches for him everyday. I’m grateful I have been able to connect with many other mothers like yourself who have gone through an unimaginable loss like our own.

Today I am walking for Otis ✨

Tuesday 11th Aug

This afternoons 3kms were for

Otis ✨

I know from following his beautiful mumma that Kookaburras are her sign that he is near & on the weekend I spotted this one.

Today I am walking for Romeo 💚

Monday 10th Aug

This mornings 3KMS are for Romeo 💚

Today in the US Romeo’s mum & dad are celebrating Romeo’s 2nd birthday!

Happy heavenly birthday Romeo 💚✨

Today I am walking for Jelly Bean ✨

Sunday 9th Aug

Today I am walking for one of my beautiful cousins Jelly Bean.

Our Jelly Bean was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 at 14 weeks. We had to make the gut wrenching decision to spare him the pain and suffering that was inevitable to come. Our little Jelly Bean was so loved and wanted. His sisters are healthy and full of life as we know he watches over them.

Today I am walking for Matilda ✨

Saturday 8th Aug

Today's 3KMs are for

MATILDA

This book was a big part of the early days after our daughter, Matilda, died.

We would read it to her every night before going to bed, and we still read it all the time to our older kids.

Matilda's song is "Tiny dancer" because she was always dancing in my belly. We think her favourite colour would have been yellow, and she would have loved being a big sister.

We miss her every minute of every day and are so sad that she never got the chance at life.

Today Mark is walking for our Blueberry 🩵✨

Friday 7th Aug

Unfortunately today I could not complete my walking as I have been struck down with a fever/ virus.

So I asked my partner Mark if he could sub in and walk the 3kms for me today. He usually walks with me when he is not out at work. The below is his update for today.

“How could I say no as Today is a special day for Lucy and l as we are walking for our first child Blueberry. We never shared this news like thousands of other family's don't. But, Unfortunately Lucy had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. As important as the 3000 plus babies that unfortunately can't be here with us there are thousands more that are quietly forgotten. We understand how scary and vulnerable pregnancy is but any pregnancy should be celebrated not hidden. So today we are celebrating and walking for all those forgotten babies. Our Blueberry, we hope you and Charlotte are having the best time together. We will never understand why we never got to meet you but thank you for choosing us to be your parents for that short 7 weeks and we will always love and celebrate you.

Love Mum and Dad”

And here is my little message

Today's 3KMs is for our BLUEBERRY 🩵

Our first baby who we were lucky enough to see on an ultrasound a week before I miscarried. You had a heart rate of 117bpm & we had no idea if you were a girl or boy (we had boy vibes) We will forever wonder who you would have been & love you so much! Until we meet again ✨

Today I am walking for Banks ✨

Thursday 6th Aug
Banks was born at just 25 weeks and spent 7 incredibly brave days fighting in the NICU. He was doing so well and surprising everyone with his strength before he unexpectedly passed away during surgery.

He was so deeply loved by his family from the moment he arrived. He had the cutest little nose, the longest fingers, and the biggest feet for a prem! Although his time with us was far too short, he made an impact that has impacted so many xx

Walking for the families who have experienced miscarriage

Wednesday 5th Aug

Today I am walking for the families who have experienced miscarriage, I am walking for their spirit babies ✨💫

For the little souls you never got to meet, you might not have a scan to remember them by, you may not have told anyone, you may think your grief isn’t valid. But I am here to tell you I see you & will always be here if you need a friendly ear to listen. Sending you all big love & hugs.

Today I am walking for James Douglas ✨

Tuesday 4th Aug
James Douglas 💙

Born sleeping on the 03/12/1987

Our angel was diagnosed with anencephaly and was incompatible with life 💔

Loved son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin of those who carry his spirit and remember and honour his name always.

We often speak his name and wonder what the world would be like with him here today. Apart of our hearts and thoughts always.

His name is carried on by the soul of his smart and amazing nephew who will always be told that he is named after our brightest angel who is never far from our side 🤍

Always loved, always missed, always in our hearts 🤍

Today I am walking for Peggy Lou O’Keeffe ✨

Monday 3rd Aug

Today I am walking for Peggy Lou O'Keeffe. Peggy’s mum Georgia shared the below with me.

Our beautiful little blue eyed identical twin to Winnie. Our daughter in this life and every other.

We miss you and speak of you every day. We will love you forever our Peggy girl. You've

changed our lives and we promise to carry forward your love and kindness

Today I am walking for Billie Anne Bandera ✨

Sunday 2nd Aug

Today's 3km are for you

Billie Anne Bandera

Billie’s mum shared the below with me

Billie Anne is my first baby and was born sleeping on the 2nd of April 2025. Billie Anne taught me more about love, family and sacrifice than I have ever known. There isn't a single day that goes by that I don't think of Billie - she's everywhere I look.

1st August for all the spirit babies ✨

Saturday 1st Aug

Today is the official start day of my fundraising for Red Nose Australia

I’ll be taking on 3km a day for the 3,000 babies and children who die suddenly and unexpectedly in Australia each year 💔

In this fitness fundraiser, donations will power vital research to stop more little lives being lost. They’ll also help provide support for families facing this devastating loss.

During the month of August I will be sharing stories, words, names & photos of not only Mark & my babies, but of other families that we have met along this journey. Thank you in advance to all of you for trusting me to share your stories ✨ 💛 🩵

And thank you at Joanie for being my first walking buddies this month. Today we are walking for all the spirit babies ✨ Sending you all big love.

I am walking for Charlotte & friends 💛

Sunday 28th Jun

This August, I am participating in the Red Nose ‘Red, Set, Go’ fundraiser. I will be walking or running 3km every day in honour of the 3,000 babies and children who die suddenly and unexpectedly in Australia each year. 💔

I would love to make this challenge about more than just the kilometres. I would also love to walk alongside your babies. If you have experienced any form of pregnancy, infant or child loss and you would like your little soul to be honoured, I would be so privileged to dedicate one of my days to them.

Whether your baby came into your life through miscarriage, stillbirth, infant or child loss, a medical diagnosis, termination for medical reasons or any other circumstance, they matter.

Every little soul deserves to be remembered and every story deserves to be treated with love and respect. If you are comfortable with me dedicating a day for your baby please send me:

💛 Your baby’s name (or nickname)

💛 A few words about them, or anything you would like others to know

💛 If you are happy for me to tag you in a post on the day I am honouring your baby. If you would prefer to remain anonymous, that’s absolutely okay too.

💛 And if you would like me to share their photo, please send one through.

On their dedicated day, I will share their name and story (only what you have given me permission to share) while completing my 3km in their honour. My hope is that together we can help educate others about the many different journeys through pregnancy, infant and child loss, while ensuring your precious little souls are never forgotten.

If you are comfortable with it, I would also be incredibly grateful if you could share my fundraising page or Instagram story on your baby’s day. Every share and every donation helps support this important cause and allows even more people to remember your baby.

Thank you for your support, and if you would like me to dedicate a day to your baby it will truly be an honour ✨
