My challenge is in honour of Dorothy Rachel Craven
I’m fundraising to save little lives this August in honour of my daughter Dorothy.
Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia.Red Nose Day helps raise awareness and funds for research and support for all families affected by SIDS and unexplained infant/ child deaths in Australia. Although the loss of Dorothy's life wasn't unexplained and was inevitable - the support I received from Red Nose's Grief and Loss program was life saving. Their counseling service allowed me to connect with women who have experienced similar losses which provided much needed support and knowledge that I am not alone and eventually will learn to live with the grief.
I'd sincerely appreciate any support and/or donation you can offer. The work Red Nose does is truly life saving and imperative to the support families receive after losing the life of an infant/ child.

I have two older brothers, and recently, having my mom with me, she opened up and talked about losing a baby brother before trying for me, and it surprised me how long she had carried the pain of not talking about it, keeping it within. Talking to her, I realised what a true suffering it is and what effect it had on her and her life. I can't even begin to fathom the pain you and your family have been through. I admire your resilience in talking about it, as hard as it may be, and I hope this will help someone else in need.
