Iā€™m fundraising to save little lives this August!

Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia. Before we lost our daughter, Matilda, that was just a statistic. Now it's something Orion and I live with every single day.

Our beautiful baby girl, Matilda, was only three months old when she passed away. In those three short months, she filled our lives with more love than we ever thought possible. She was the happiest little girlā€”always smiling, full of sass, and already such a tiny drama queen. She had the biggest, most beautiful brown eyes that would light up whenever her favourite people walked into the room. Every nurse and doctor who cared for her fell in love with her. She had a way of capturing hearts wherever she went, and everyone who met her commented on how beautiful and special she was.

Although our time with Matilda was far too short, she changed us forever. She will always be our daughter, and she will always be loved, missed, and remembered every single day.

This August, I'm taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge in Matilda's honour. I'm doing it for her, for Orion and me, and for every family who has experienced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing a baby or child.

By supporting my fundraiser, you'll help fund vital research that could save little lives and provide essential counselling and support to families navigating the darkest days of their lives. It's comforting to know that, through Matilda's legacy, we can help bring hope to other families and work towards a future where fewer parents have to experience this kind of loss.
