I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!

Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia.

Some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath.

I want to support parents that have experienced this unimaginable heartbreak, and raise funds to help save little lives – that’s why I’m taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge this August!

Day 27 - Red Nose Day

Thursday 27th Aug
We’ve done it! $2000 raised and 98km run, every day in August!

With everyone’s support, I’m humbled that we have achieved so much I. Raising money for struggling families Dealing with SIDS, research and education is where it’s all going, and the added bonus has been the bit of fitness and passion for running it’s reignited in me.

At the end of July I was heartbroken that a niggly calf and sudden injury was going to shatter the quest before it started, but everyone’s donations have motivated me to stick at it, rehab and build my fitness again and conquer the challenge of this fundraiser.

Thanks for everyone who believes in me and supported me and the Red Nose Foundation along the way!

Friday 7th Aug
Wow! The $$$ are rolling in and I’m so proud of all the family and friends I have supporting and motivating me!

I’ve been focusing on changing how I run, instead of flat out, slowing things down and utilising all my muscles with good running technique to reduce injury. This comes off of injuring myself a week before starting this quest and so far my body is holding up!

I’ll soon be able to increase my distances and I’m left feeling super motivated from everyone’s donations. 

To see the value we’ve raised has amounted to significant counselling and research surrounding SIDS, only make me want to reach out further to others and raise more for an amazing cause
