I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!

I am on a 3k Walk this August to raise funds for Red Nose Day 2026

As a Mum who has experienced the loss of two babies, this cause is deeply personal to me.

I am hoping to raise funds to continue the research, prevention and Supporting Parents of SIDS & SANDS babies in Australia.

My first Son Cameron died from SIDS at just 16 weeks old, in 1990.

9 years later I lost my 3rd son Daniel of SANDS who was stillborn at 20 weeks & 1 day. Daniel’s twin was lost earlier at 14 weeks with no reason as to WHY .

To help support others, I became a SIDS & SANDS Registered Bereavement Support person in 2002  for  assisting families in the Great Southern and Wheatbelt community, who were in need of immediate help and ongoing support.

I’m taking part in this Red Nose Day to honour both Cameron and Daniel and to support families walking this heartbreaking journey today, and to help fund the research, education, prevention and bereavement support.

I’m also extremely motivated as a NANNA of 3 Grandsons and who wants this research to continue and Provide best preventative support

Let’s keep the research going and keep our babies safe

Every donation, no matter how small, helps Red Nose Day continue its life-saving work and provide support when families need it most.

Thank you for helping me keep Cameron and Daniel’s memories alive while working towards a future where fewer families experience this kind of loss.
