Spreading Awareness Through Sweetness - Our Red Nose Bake Sale

Hi everyone, 

I'm one of many Admin Officers within the Paediatrics Department, Ipswich Hospital. I've organised a Red Nose Day Bake Sale to raise funds and awareness for this incredible cause. 

This initiative came about as a way to engage with our team and community, spark conversations, and help inform others about the importance of Red Nose Day.  It's more than just cupcake and biscuits, it's about coming together to support families, raise awareness about sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), and fund life-saving research and support services. 

I wouldn't have been able to bring this idea to life without the amazing support from the team in the Women's, Children's and Families department. Their enthusiasm, generosity, and willingness to get involved have made this event truly special. 

Staff across our department are getting involved by baking treats, wearing red, and helping spread the word. We'll also be encouraging everyone to wear a Red Nose to show their support and help raise awareness in a fun and visible way. 

I'm truly grateful for the support we've received so far, and I'm excited to see how this event brings people together for a cause that touches so many lives.
