Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia.Some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath.
I want to support parents that have experienced this unimaginable heartbreak, and raise funds to help save little lives – that’s why I’ve signed up for Red Nose Day this August.

Red Nose Day holds a very special place in my heart.
Five years ago, I lost my beautiful baby boy, Darby. He was born sleeping, and there are no words that can truly describe the heartbreak of leaving the hospital without your baby in your arms.
Every year, I choose to do the little things I can to raise money for Red Nose Australia because I want Darby’s story to help make a difference.
Behind every donation is hope — hope for more research, more understanding, more support for families, and ultimately, fewer families having to experience the unimaginable loss of a baby.
I raise these funds in memory of Darby, in honour of the babies who never got to come home, and for the families who continue to carry their love and loss every single day.
