I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!
Earlier this year, our son Ruben arrived early, and after 7 precious days, we heartbreakingly had to say goodbye.
Every day in Australia, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly. Some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath.
Since Ruben’s passing, Red Nose Australia has been there for us – offering one-on-one counselling, support groups, and a community that understands the unimaginable heartbreak of losing a baby or child. Red Nose supports families through all types of loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, SIDS, and other sudden or unexpected deaths.
This August, we’re taking part in the Red, Set, Go! Challenge – committing to walk or run 3km every day for the month to raise funds for Red Nose. These funds help save little lives through vital research and provide free counselling and support to grieving families like ours.
