My challenge is in honour of Billy
Honouring our precious children, and raising awareness and funds to save more precious lives in the future
Every day, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly in Australia.
Like ours, some families only get minutes or days with their child/ren, and don't get to see their child take their first breath, or experience any other firsts that we had imagined.
I want to support other families who have experienced this unimaginable heartbreak, to spread awareness, and to ultimately honour our children who didn't get the absolute gift of life.
If you aren't in a position to donate, I completely understand.
You could:
- reach out to a family who has had a child lose their life
- say their child's name
- take a moment to really think about the small things you might take for granted
- light a candle in someone's honour
- do a random act of kindness
- anything to spread a positive ripple to those who may need it.
Because the little check-ins, hearing Billy's name, wondering and imagining so much with others, feeling held- all of it means so much.
