I’m fundraising to save little lives this August!

This August marks 9 years since our beautiful son, Charlie, was born sleeping.  In his memory, I want to support other parents that have experienced this same heartbreak, and raise funds to help save little lives. That’s why I’m taking on the Red, Set, Go Challenge through August and running 99km.

Every day in Australia, 9 babies and children die suddenly or unexpectedly.

Some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others, like ours, never get to see their child take their first breath.

By donating to my fundraiser, you’ll help fund vital research that will save little lives and provide counselling and support to families like ours that have experienced the devastation of losing their baby or child.

Granite island run

Granite island 10k

Ticked off a few more kilometres on Sunday with the Granite Island 10k. A beautiful course from Victor Harbor, over the causeway to Granite Island, round the island trails and then back to Victor….twice! Perfect weather - very cold but sunny and no wind. As I reached the top of Granite Island, the sun shone down on us runners. Stunning scenery in a place where I feel close to Charlie.
The best part? Seeing Chris and the boys at the finish, cheering me over the line.
