We’re fundraising for Kalliope and all those that have lost their little loves by walking 3km a day. Follow us and our journey through Australia and Europe ❤️

As many of you know, earlier this year our daughter Kalliope was stillborn due to late complications in labour.  She was born an angel at 40+6 on 26 March and has touched our lives forever.

In Australia, nine babies and children are lost suddenly or unexpectedly everyday.

Some families only get minutes or days with their precious little ones. Others never get to see their child take their first breath just like us ❤️

Red Nose has supported us through this tragic journey since the very first day and they continue to support us today. This support and kindness of our counsellors has been invaluable and I’m not sure where I’d be without it. 

I also want to continue to support parents that have experienced this unimaginable heartbreak, and raise funds to help save little lives. This Red, Set, Go Challenge in August is a way to help fund the support we and other families need! 

All donations will help fund vital research that will save little lives – and provide counselling and support to families that have experienced the devastation of losing a precious baby or child.

I’ve started the donation pot with $1000 that was a portion of monies that was raised by my dear friends and colleagues in London that I am giving to this charity because it’s so close to our hearts.

We are truly grateful for everyone’s support thus far and we couldn’t have done it without you! 

We have far surpassed our original target of $5000 and now we’ve reached our secondary target of $7500! That’s all thanks to you all! 

The monies raised go straight to Red Nose Australia to help support families just like us after losing a precious baby or child. 

We are so thankful to Red Nose for the support they have given us, and knowing you’re all behind us has also helped and encouraged us to keep going and to keep the memory of our precious daughter alive.

It’s the last week of our challenge! It’s Red Nose Day this Thursday 28th August. Get involved wherever you can! And again, Thank you ❤️

Week 1 Complete 🌹

Friday 8th Aug
The first week is already complete. That went quickly! 

I’m currently listening to a podcast called Navigating Baby Loss whilst I’m on these walks - everything they’re speaking of resonates. Of course it does! And boy! It’s a roller coaster! BUT! It helps to sort the mind, clear the fog, acknowledge my thoughts and feelings and somewhat reduce the stresses. 

Thank you to everyone supporting, donating and cheering me on whether near or far. It truly is appreciated. Your messages and check ins mean a lot. It keeps me going, gives me a purpose and a sense of achievement for others ❤️

Day 1 - Red Set Go!

Friday 1st Aug
We conquered day 1 of our Red Set Go Challenge with 3 miles walking across to the cricket fields in the Swan Valley. Beautiful walk and the sun was shining - I don’t expect it to shine every day over here in winter! But one can hope! 

We really value all the love and support we have received during our grieving days since Kalliope was stillborn. We appreciate all the love that poured in abundance ❤️

A path no one wants to be on but finds themselves there and in all this Red Nose understands just that. They provided us with the counselling that we didn’t know we needed until we were in it. The counsellors were incredible and we have a lot to be thankful for. 

This challenge helps to not only raise awareness of stillbirth and SIDs across Australia where 1 in 9 loses a precious baby or child but around the world! The raising funds helps support crucial research and supports families in need too.

Firstly, a HUGE thank you so everyone who has donated thus far. We are truly grateful ❤️

I cannot believe we are on just day TWO of our fundraising journey for Kalliope and other babies and children who have lost their little lives too soon and we are nearly at our $5k target?! WOW! 

So with a little extra thought, and 8 days until we start our Red, Set, Go Challenge in Australia and across to Europe we’ve decided to reach further and increase our target to $7.5k! 

We’re going for goals! Each donation helps support Red Nose with research, and support for grieving families. 

$150 goes towards a one on one counselling session for grieving parents. We were offered this service and utilised it. It really has helped us in our journey, one we never thought we’d be on. 

Grief looks and feels different for everyone, and this platform is assisting many along their grief journey. 

Thank you for supporting us, and other families. 

Watch us as we go and walk for and alongside others in this challenge.
