Loddon Prison and Middleton!
Red Nose Day is an annual fundraising campaign held to raise awareness and funds for Red Nose Australia's crucial work in supporting families affected by the death of a child and funding research into sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and other sudden unexpected deaths in infancy (SUDI).
Because of Red Nose Day, there are now evidence-based safe sleep programs and other resources that parents, carers and health professionals can implement to reduce the risk of babies dying in their sleep, which is estimated to have saved over 12,500 little lives.
How do I participate?
You can participate in any way big or small. Wear something red for the day, earrings, socks..you name it! There will be a sweet treat on the day handed out to staff if you are working
Another indirect way you are able to participate is by just taking a moment to read this email, educate yourself on what SIDS is or give your kids an extra second long hug or send them a quick text.
Donate?
There will donation boxes in Visit Reception across both Loddon and Middleton, or it can be passed on to Charlotte Lapalme-Daley
