Red Nose Day Eve - National Remembrance Service 2022

The National Remembrance Service - An Unexpected Journey - the embrace of each moment will be held Red Nose Day Eve, Thursday 11 August at 7:30pm (AEST).

We are honoured to be hosting the third annual national remembrance service this Red Nose Day Eve to bring together our beautiful community, to remember our much-loved little ones and to connect together in our grief.

This year’s theme is An Unexpected Journey - the embrace of each moment. No one anticipates the death of their beloved baby or child, and the path of a bereaved parent is not where we expect life to take us, but our connection to our little ones is enduring, and our parenting journey continues as our relationship with them evolves into one of remembrance. We want to acknowledge all the moments – those of shock and sadness, and also the moments of love and beauty.

Embracing each moment is about acknowledging all of the moments along these journeys, remembering our little ones, and finding ways to parent and continue to include them in our lives and hearts even though they are not in our arms.

This special Red Nose Day Eve national remembrance service is dedicated to all the beautiful and precious children who are no longer with us.
